Original architectural features and soaring interiors give the property its distinctive character, while generous living spaces make it easy for everyone to relax, eat and socialise together. At the heart of the house is the spacious main living area, where a beautiful stained-glass window provides a striking backdrop. There’s a log-burning stove, a cosy reading snug and, up on the mezzanine, table tennis for a little friendly competition. Shared meals are a big part of a group stay, and the bespoke wooden dining tables provide plenty of room for everyone to sit down together. An original church pew and piano add to the character of the space, while the large, well-equipped kitchen makes self-catering for a full house straightforward. Outside, the large south-facing enclosed and covered deck extends the communal space, with a firepit and outdoor bar area. It’s a great spot for drinks, long evenings and catching up together, with the covered setting making it useful even when the Scottish weather is less predictable. The five bedrooms are arranged across the ground and first floors, with exceptionally comfortable beds and individually designed furniture throughout. An extra single bed can be added to 2 of the bedrooms to suit your group. The layout offers flexibility for different combinations of family and friends while still giving guests their own space. Whether you’re planning a family get-together, a milestone birthday or simply bringing a group of friends together for a few days away, The Old Church provides the space and flexibility to make the stay your own. For larger groups, Kyle Lodge and Carrick Lodge are also situated within the grounds and can be booked separately, with each lodge sleeping a further two guests. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** The Old Church and Carrick Lodge are pet friendly. - **Accessibility:** The Old Church has ramp access to the front door and outside deck area.
