The Old Cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms - 2 king bedrooms and a downstairs twin

The Annex sleeps up to 5 in 2 bedrooms  - 1 double bedroom and a twin bedroom with a 3rd pullout bed (plus an additional double sofa bed)

Perfect for big families or groups of friends, this charming seaside getaway is just a short stroll from Walcott's sandy beach, ideal for a family bucket and spade day out and a paddle in the sea. With 5 bedrooms spread between the main cottage and an annex, there’s loads of space for everyone (plus the dogs) to relax, recharge and enjoy fun times on holiday together.

The Old Cottage is full of character, mixing comfort with a touch of traditional coastal charm. The big farmhouse-style dining table is perfect for gathering everyone together - whether it’s a lazy breakfast or a celebratory dinner. There’s a cosy living room with a wood burner for chilly evenings and French doors that open straight into the garden for when the sun’s out. 3 comfy bedrooms sleep up to six and, with 1 on the ground floor alongside a bathroom, the cottage is ideal for guests who prefer to skip the stairs.

Out in the garden, you’ll find the Field View Annex - a lovely detached hideaway with peaceful countryside views. It has 2 more bedrooms and a sofa bed, giving you flexible sleeping options for children, grandparents or an additional family. Do mind the charming beams and sloping ceilings – they add character but might make taller guests duck occasionally!

Outside, the enclosed garden is a real highlight - perfect for barbecues, al fresco dinners, or just relaxing with a glass of wine while the children and dogs play. The village has everything you need: a friendly pub, a great fish and chip shop, and even an ice-cream parlour.

If you fancy exploring, there are miles of the Norfolk Coastal Path for seaside walks, nearby nature trails, and family-friendly attractions including BeWILDerwood and ROARR! Dinosaur Park. Or simply sit back, breathe in the sea air and enjoy the peace. Whether it’s lazy beach days, evening sunsets, or family dinners that stretch long into the night, your stay here is all about easygoing seaside living and creating those perfect holiday moments.
