Where could be more perfect to gather your friends and family together than a characterful thatched cottage in the pretty small harbour inlet of Bosham near Chichester, West Sussex. The Old Thatch cottage enjoys the best of both worlds, combining traditional 17th century features in the original cottage alongside the contemporary pool room which offers open-plan living and a large dining area.
The original cottage is an ambient cosy space with comfortable living areas for up to 6 guests. The sitting room has sofas for 6, a quieter space for any guests wanting a little peace and privacy. The adjacent pool room has a dining table seating 14 and plenty of relaxed seating - perfect for long family dinners and catching up afterwards. This versatile family room also enjoys direct access to the heated outdoor pool (summer months only), excellent for long summer days and fun evenings inside or outside. The large enclosed garden and patio has outdoor furniture and a barbecue, and is ideal for exercising the dogs with space for the children to run around while the burgers and steaks sizzle and the drinks flow.
There are 3 bedrooms in the cottage and 1 en-suite king room in the pool room area with 3 double sofa beds spread across both lounges for extra guests. Bathroom facilities are plentiful, including a ground floor shower room in the pool room for rinsing off the chlorine.

The Old Thatch has all you might need for your stay without going anywhere else, Alternatively, a gentle stroll will take you to Bosham Quay with 2 fabulous cafes, one selling the best ice cream! Bosham has some great pubs for a quiet pint before supper and good food too, giving the cook a rest. Chichester is a lovely town with historic attractions and museums, or enjoy a day on West Wittering sandy beach. Walkers and cyclists will flock to the trails around Chichester Harbour as well as the South Downs a short drive away. Goodwood is nearby for guests attending events.
