With stunning views down the dale and a large garden complete with stream, The Old Vicarage will not disappoint, with gorgeous sunsets and plenty of wildlife to watch.
Living area design features are exquisite throughout with a stunning kitchen for cooking together, a lounge and conservatory for relaxation and inside and outside dining for all guests. The fully equipped kitchen complete with electric AGA and separate oven and hob is ready for family meals, lazy Sunday breakfasts and reunions, while the doors to the conservatory and patio provide access to the table for 12, barbecue, and chimineas. The perfect place to reflect on your day’s adventures as the sun sets, before snuggling up by the log burner. And the garden offers plenty of outside space for the kids and dogs to run around freely too.
With underfloor heating, WiFi throughout, smart TVs and plenty of parking, The Old Vicarage provides a traditional base with all the modern essentials.
All of the sleeping accommodation is high end luxury with tasteful decor and soft furnishings with sensational dale views. 2 ground floor bedrooms are ideal for those wishing to avoid stairs. The Farndale Store opened in summer 2023 at Low Mill, just a couple of miles away, stocking necessities and niceties.
Kirkbymoorside is only a short drive from Farndale, a mecca for walkers and cyclists with 20 trails to explore, including Farndale Daffodils Circular or Kirkbymoorside and Gillamoor Circular. Pickering ioffers visitors a castle, heritage railway and a church known for its fresco paintings, along with a wide range of independent shops and cafes for lunch or afternoon tea. Slightly further away is the coast and Whitby for a fish & chip supper after a walk on the beach.
