From here there are many great walks, either up to the fells or down to the lake. The main entrance of The Presbytery leads into the bright, modern and well-equipped kitchen equipped with everything you need to store and prepare food during your holiday. Along with modern appliances and ample cupboard space there is informal dining for up to 7 guests. The large inner hallway leads to the grand yet cosy sitting room. This bright and spacious room features high ceilings, a traditional open fire, comfortable seating and spectacular lake and mountain views from the traditional sash windows. There is also a large TV for relaxing in front of after your day spent adventuring in the Lakes. Leading directly off the lounge is a large dining area, with a generous table and ample bench seating ensuring that everyone has plenty of space to dine together after a fabulous day spent exploring. Also on this level is a handy ground-floor shower room. The grand staircase leads to 4 bedrooms on the first floor with an additional 2 bedrooms located on the second, and top, floor of this imposing house. Also located upstairs are a further 5 bath/shower rooms, 3 of which are en suite to the bedrooms. The Presbytery is located in Coniston which is an excellent centre for all outdoor enthusiasts, with some superb climbing, walking, water sports and fishing to be had all year round.
