Nestled in the lush Co. Meath countryside, Rockfield Estate offers guests the opportunity to escape to a tranquil setting where they can relax, revive and reconnect - a wonderful location for large gatherings and special celebrations. Exclusive access to the estate is available and means that guests have use of the entire site which includes the main Georgian manor, the Gardener's Lodge, the Courtyard and Coachman's Loft Apartments, the inner courtyard, the Morning Garden, the main courtyard, the far courtyard, the large walled garden, the Harvest Hall (a multi-use indoor space for large groups) and several smaller indoor/outdoor spaces.
Rockfield House was fully restored between 1999 and 2010 and can guarantee guests a venue steeped in history coupled with modern amenities. The grandeur of the entrance hall with its cantilever staircase introduces guests to a taste of what's to come in the rest of the house. On the ground floor there is the parlour, the fully-equipped kitchen, the Billiard Room and the two-bedroomed Swan Suite.
The first floor leads you to the Library, Dining Room and the beautiful Music Room. The Fitzherbert two-bedroomed suite is also on this floor. The second floor boasts the other six bedroom suites as well as a lounge area overlooking the courtyards and walled garden.
The house sleeps up to 30 people in 24 individual beds in 10 luxurious bedrooms/suites. Quirks include the hidden showers, Thomas Crapper toilets and the capacious copper bath in the Swan Suite. The secret doors from the Library will spark your imagination and put you in mind of childhood adventures.
The two-bedroom Courtyard Apartment, next door to the main house, sleeps five in four individual beds and also has a fully-equipped kitchen, sitting-room and large bathroom with bath and shower.
The Coachman's Loft studio apartment sleeps five in four beds and has a kitchenette and shower room.
The Gardener's Lodge - this house has a fully-equipped kitchen, dining and sitting areas, wood-burning stove, with its own patio area and outdoor seating. Upstairs, bedroom one sleeps ten bedroom, two sleeps eight (both en suite) and bedroom three sleeps four - all bunk-beds.
