Outside, a long patio is the perfect setting for relaxed meals together. There is plenty of space for everyone to sit outside with a morning coffee, or lingering over dinner as the evening draws in. Each cottage also has an enclosed terrace area ideal for young children or dogs. Enjoy the glorious views across the Northumberland countryside. For walkers, you could hardly ask for a better setting. The cottages sit within the Northumberland National Park and the International Dark Sky Area, with stunning countryside right on the doorstep. Kielder Water and Forest are around 20 minutes away for outdoor activities, while Bellingham is just 2 miles away for a potter around shops, with a good range of cafes and restaurants. And when nobody fancies cooking or travelling to eat out, the Boe Rigg Cafe and Bar is right next door, with bar meals available in early evening on Friday and Saturday. Very handy after a day out walking. There's plenty to explore further afield too. Alnwick and Bamburgh Castles both make a great day out, with history, gardens and spectacular settings.
