This is a wonderfully quiet environment for groups, with space to relax, eat well and enjoy the surrounding landscape. Packages are available for exclusive hen parties - please enquire. Each garden room has an en suite bathroom with a rain head shower fed by local spring water, and beds with soft linens and comfortable pillows. The rooms open directly into the gardens and feature wooden floors, handmade furniture and simple touches such as fresh coffee and small treats. The Wicklow Escape sits within an acre of gardens, with walking paths, kitchen gardens, flower beds and outdoor spaces which guests are welcome to use. The Long Hall, outdoor kitchen, pavilion and wood fired hot tub offer places to relax. The Wicklow Escape is also suitable for retreats with plenty of space in the mountain lodge for yoga classes (mats and other equipment provided) and workshops. The lodge has a warm wooden floor, central heating and a log burner. Extra fun experiences can be added to your stay: guided hikes stargazing in the outdoor hot tub pamper treatments with a therapist gin-making sessions in the Larch Cabin, which can also be used for gourmet group dining experiences flower garland workshops and candle making Food is an important part of a stay here, with foodie weekend escape packages available. The permaculture garden restaurant is open to both residents and non-residents, with a focus on local and homegrown produce. Catering options at The Wicklow Escape range from fully catered weekends with a chef and service staff, to individual meals, pizza evenings and barbecues. Dietary needs can usually be met with advance notice. Guests can enjoy short forest trails around the property, with maps provided in each room. Lots of walking routes lead to the mountains including Lugnaquilla and the Sugarloaf.
