The Woolpack York sleeps 12 (plus a sofa bed in bedroom 4 for extra guests).

A converted pub in the heart of wonderful York is a fantastic choice for a get together. Step out onto Fawcett Street and only a short stroll away is a wide range of pubs, restaurants, bars and a night life worthy of any stag or hen do or for a special celebration.

The Woolpack York has been renovated to create a lovely holiday house with touches of luxury for comfort and ease. The spacious open plan living room is a great spot to relax and socialise together, offering plenty of seating and a Smart TV for watching a movie together or an important sporting event. The original bar is now a sleek fully equipped kitchen, black and shiny with modern appliances. The bar works as an island, ideal for food prep and ensuring the cook is part of the fun and not missing out. Dining for 12 next to the kitchen means long shared suppers and plenty of catch up time, without having to go anywhere if you fancy a cosy night in. And there is a WC and shower on the ground floor for complete convenience.

Bedrooms across the 1st and 2nd floors can be configured as superkings or twins, a consideration for mixed groups and especially a business gathering. They are all individually designed with boutique hotel-style decoration and colourful soft furnishings, ensuring a comfortable night. 2 rooms have en suite showers and there is a shared bathroom on each of the upper floors.

Of course the beauty of a stay at The Woolpack York is being able to enjoy home from home accommodation while still being close to city life. Visit York Minster, one of the world's oldest and most impressive cathedrals. Discover 2000 years of York's darkest history in a trip to the York Dungeons or head to the iconic National Railway Museum for a day out to try the Flying Scotsman Experience. York is a popular shopping destination with all the usual high street stores and a plethora of independent stores along Gillygate and Petergate. The Shambles Market is on daily with over 85 stalls to wander around. And there are loads of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The North York Moors can be reached within 40 minutes for keen hikers and cyclists.
