Recently rebuilt, it blends modern convenience with loads of character and sleeps up to 9 guests plus infants. Via a bridge from the patio, you enter the house into a spacious interior with stone floors, original beams and underfloor heating throughout. The open plan dining room has a vaulted ceiling, an oak table seating up to 10 and lovely views over the private gardens and Millers Dale Valley. The kitchen is well equipped with a double oven gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher and 2 fridges plus a separate laundry and drying room for wet kit. Just off the kitchen is a cosy snug with comfy seating and a TV, an informal corner for a glass of wine while dinner is prepared. The main lounge is ideal for relaxing together after a day outdoors. It has a vaulted ceiling, stone flagged floor, 3 large sofas, a log burning stove for winter evenings and a Smart TV. There are 4 bedrooms in total. Upstairs is a twin loft room, with roof windows and a portable air conditioning unit. Downstairs you will find 1 bedroom with 3 single beds and 2 bedrooms with doubles, one of which has a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden. All bedrooms have crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen and underfloor heating. A cot can be added to any room. The Wriggly Tin has 3 bathrooms finished to a high standard, with stone floors, modern white suites, showers or baths and heated towel rails. Perfect for the needs of a larger gathering. Outside, the private garden is a real highlight. There's a limestone patio with seating and barbecue, terraced gardens leading down to a lower patio and gravel area, and plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the views. Set between Bakewell and Buxton, with the Monsal Trail and River Wye right on the doorstep, The Wriggly Tin is a fantastic base for walking and cycling groups. A car-free route for bikes, walkers and pushchairs runs along the 6 miles (12 miles return) from the Wriggly Tin to Bakewell, home of the famous Bakewell Pudding.
