The property consists of five double/twin rooms (zip & link beds allow you to choose your preference) - two with en-suite shower rooms, and 2 further shower rooms, main sitting room with log burner, TV/DVD 3 large sofa's, dining room, table to seat 14, second sitting room including two single day beds, kitchen with microwave, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Knowlton and the hamlet of Tickenhurst lie in quiet countryside approximately 9 miles south-east of Canterbury and 5 miles from Sandwich and the coast. Sheep, horses and arable farming occupy the land of the estate.
The championship golf courses of Royal St. Georges and Princes are at Sandwich Bay, which also offers a sandy beach. Dover, Deal, Ramsgate, Margate and Broadstairs are renowned for their seaside and seagoing activities and have many buildings of historic interest. In addition to it's beautiful Cathedral, Canterbury has a wealth of historic buildings, excellent museums, theatre, a modern university and Kent County Cricket Ground.
