Tiger Hall is a beautifully renovated Arts and Crafts holiday house sleeping 10 guests, set on the quiet lower slopes of the Long Mynd in Church Stretton. With walking trails directly from the garden and cafés and pubs just a short stroll away, this peaceful retreat offers an exceptional location for group stays in the heart of the Shropshire Hills.

Designed for multi-generational families, outdoor-loving groups and relaxed celebrations, Tiger Hall combines period character with modern comfort. Inside, generous social spaces make it easy to gather, while quieter corners provide room to unwind.

The house features a large, well-equipped kitchen with Rangemaster cooker and Sage bean-to-cup coffee machine, a bay-windowed dining room with log burner, and a cosy living room with French doors opening onto the terrace. A cinema and games attic with projector, Xbox and table football is a particular hit with children and teenagers.

There are 5 stylish bedrooms arranged over two floors. A ground-floor double bedroom with nearby shower room is ideal for guests who prefer to avoid stairs. Upstairs, you’ll find a king ensuite, a super-king zip-and-link, two twin rooms (one zip-and-link), and a family bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower. The attic cinema room has two sofa beds suitable for children.

The large walled garden is private and secure, with open hill views, lawn for games, outdoor dining, a wood-fired pizza oven and fire pit. A year-round hot tub is perfect for relaxing after a day on the hills. Stargazing is a highlight in this designated Dark Sky area.

Tiger Hall is exceptionally well set up for outdoor groups, with a secure bike store, e-bike charging, a wash station for dogs, bikes and boots, and a boot room with drying facilities. Walks begin from the garden gate, linking into routes on the Long Mynd and surrounding hills, while cyclists enjoy quiet lanes, famous climbs and miles of bridleways.

Church Stretton’s cafés, pubs, shops and train station are all within easy walking distance, with fast train links to Shrewsbury and Ludlow. Tiger Hall is dog-friendly and well suited to respectful group stays, family gatherings and outdoor-focused breaks.
