With stunning views and a fantastic location, Tintern Old Rectory, a holiday house in the Wye Valley sleeping 10, is bound to be popular with friends, families, walkers or cyclists getting together for a reunion, holiday or important celebration. It's barely a stone's throw away from spectacular Tintern Abbey and directly on Offa's Dyke and the Wye Valley Walk. Plus there are 3 great pubs in Tintern, and a fabulous restaurant just outside. It is easily accessible via the M48 and A48.

Tintern Old Rectory is an 18th century period property, cosy and comfortable throughout the year. The dining room is a great place for everyone in the group to sit down for a sociable supper, good wine and plenty of chat. The lounge has a log burner, perfect for relaxing at the end of the evening with an inviting chaise loungue to stretch out on and admire the backdrop. It's perfect at any time of day.

The choice of accommodation works well for a mixed age group with kings, twins and a double. The garden suite is a romantic and spacious room for couples with river view and its own patio seating area. The family suite consists of 2 bedrooms, a double and a separate twin, and is ideal for a multi generational family gathering. Bathroom facilities are plentiful.

This area has some of the best walking trails in the UK and great opportunities for canoeing or kayaking on the River Wye. Chepstow is an interesting market town, known for its racecourse and more recently a lively arts and music scene. Explore local vineyards selling quality wines, or wander around Tintern itself with its many attractions. A visit to the roofless abbey is a must to learn of its history and role in the dissolution of the monasteries, as well as visits by famous Romantic poets. And Puzzlewood is a fantastic day out for families, with a mysterious ancient woodland to explore.
