The house is surrounded by parkland belonging to Elie House, and families and friends staying at Treescape have the opportunity to explore Elie House grounds, run through the woodland or cycle along the numerous paths. It’s the ideal setting for a family holiday, weekend break or golfing trip. The house is simple yet very stylish and elegant. There are five generous bedrooms (one double, three doubles/twins and a bunk bedroom), a living room, a large kitchen diner with huge windows overlooking the estate, and three bathrooms, of which two are en-suite. The house has a very efficient heating system, and a great sound system. All the instructions are clearly explained and not difficult to master! The house is a joy to stay in during the winter or summer as it can be made cosy or cool. It's a very light and airy place to be, with huge windows upstairs and down, and the garden terrace behind the house is a fabulous place to relax with a book or glass of wine, or have a family BBQ after a day exploring the area or on the beach. The house has ready access to all the Elie amenities, yet when you go 'home' you will feel like you are a world away from the busy village. Here you have two dedicated parking spaces and the joy of a hut to put your bikes or golf equipment in. It is very easy to get to shops, pubs and cafes, and there is a water sports centre 5 mins away. ### What's Nearby? - **Location:** The house is in Elie, the nearest big town is St Andrews 11 miles away or Leven 20 mins drive. - **Food and Drink:** The Ship Inn serves food, has a deck and is only a short distance away. There are numerous places to eat close by in the various East Neuk villages along the coast. - **Shop:** The village has a baker, deli and cafes. There is also a kiosk serving ice cream and coffee at the Ship Inn 2 mins away.
