Tremeer Farm is a small traditional Cornish farm nestling in a quiet unspoilt valley a mile from idyllic beaches and close to Fowey River. A wonderful place for groups to join together to celebrate a special occasion. Over the past 15 years we have hosted many wonderful groups, including: family reunions, birthday parties, beautiful weddings, as well as yoga retreats, wild swimming groups, walking holidays, school groups and hen weekends.

If you hire all 4 yurts and our Long Barn, you have exclusive use of Tremeer and all of our facilities, including wood fired hot tub and pizza oven and large rustic activities barn . You won't have to worry about disturbing other guests and can relax around the camp fire without fear of breaking a curfew!

Our Long Barn comfortably sleeps up to 8 people and has a large open plan living space with farm house table and range cooker making it ideal for a large group to get together. Our 4 yurts are beautifully furnished with brass beds and wood burning stoves.

Lots of cooking and eating options from Bespoke Kitchen in the Long Barn, Camping kitchens, out door cooking if you are feeling adventurous. Wood fired pizza oven etc.

Bathrooms are fresh with proper flushing toilets and hot showers - no composting loos!

Our large rustic Activities Barn also makes Tremeer a perfect location for groups. It is a wonderful structure where large groups can gather together should the weather be inclement. Here you will find badminton and table tennis. It is a fabulous space for special celebrations.

Relax under the stars in our wood fired cedar hot tub after a day exploring the hidden coves and beaches. Evenings can be spent toasting marshmallows over an open fire and chatting late into the night. There is lots to do in the area, including stunning walks on the South Coast Path, canoeing and sailing on the River Fowey.

Dog Friendly

Sorry, no dogs due to our farm animals. Excellent boarding kennels at Pelynt (4 miles).

Accessibility

The Long Barn has level access facilities including wetroom. However access into the barn includes 2-3 steps.

Long Barn: Bespoke kitchen with range cooker and dishwasher. Each yurt has its own camping kitchen Wood fired pizza oven. BBQs Campfire cooking

Dining Room

Lots of options for dining from the farmhouse tables in the Long Barn and yurt kitchens to alfresco meals outside or trestle tables or in the barn.

Sitting Room

Long Barn has large open plan living area with sofas and beanbags. Yurts have futons and wood burning stoves. Relax around campfire at night.

TV and Music Facilities

Fairly low tech, TV available in Long Barn if required.

Games Room

Large rustic play barn with table tennis, badminton, table football, basketball hoop, toys.

Heating and Open Fires

Wood burning stoves in the yurts, camp fires with outdoor griddles. Long Barn has underfloor heating. Large woodfired cooking stove in rustic barn.

Bedrooms

Long Barn: Superking with ensuite, twin, bunk room with 4 adult sized bunks Yurts Brass and iron double bed, futons can be made into single beds.

Linen

Each bedroom is uniquely furnished with beautiful designer linens, feather duvets. Towels are not included.

Bathrooms

Long Barn Master Bedroom has en suite wetroom and 2nd shower room. Yurts have hot water showers and flushing toilets.

Children's Facilities

Very child friendly. Children can help with the morning animal feed and collect their own eggs for breakfast. Badminton, table tennis, table football.

Outdoor

5 acre meadow space to fly kites, cricket, and rounders, outdoor hot tub, camp fires, wood fired pizza oven, badminton, table tennis.

Swimming Pool

Wood fired cedar hot tub.

Parking

There is parking for approximately 10 cars.

Smoking

No smoking in the yurts or buildings.

Booking Information

From £295 per yurt for 3 night weekend or 4 night midweek break.
Changeover days are normally Mondays and Fridays.

Location

In a beautiful Cornish hidden valley close to the Fowey River and just over a mile from stunning beaches and The South Coast Path. Close to Fowey, The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Fowey and Polruan approx. 3.5 miles. Polperro and Looe are also close by.
Good local butcher and well stocked village shops at Pelynt, 3.5 miles. Losthwithiel approx 7 miles with artisan shops. Supermarkets are a little further.
There are several excellent pubs in Polruan, Boddinick, Lerryn and Pelynt. Great restaurants in Fowey, Polperro, Looe and Lostwithiel.
Newquay.
Lostwithiel, Liskeard and Bodmin (10-15 miles approx).
Small bus runs to the end of the lane from Polruan to Looe.
