This spacious Victorian farmhouse in West Cornwall is made for getting together with family and friends, whatever the season. Set in private grounds overlooking Hayle, it is just a short drive from Hayle beach, St Ives Bay and Gwithian’s sandy beach, so you can fill your days with seaside adventures or simply stay put and enjoy the house. There is plenty of room to spread out inside, with 3 living rooms, each with its own wood burning stove. A big TV room is perfect for watching films and games, a library and piano room for quieter moments and another lounge for putting your feet up. Add a baby grand piano and a conservatory with lovely sunset views and you have all the ingredients for a very sociable stay. The farmhouse kitchen is the natural gathering point in the house, with a large range cooker, coffee machine and everything you need to feed a crowd. Sit down together for meals around the table or head outside for a barbecue. The garden has seating for at least 14, plenty of grass for games and more than an acre to explore, including space for 4 legged friends. The 6 bedrooms sleeping 12 offer a mix of king size, double and single beds, with 2 en suite showers and 2 further bathrooms. The Annexe sleeps 4 more (with an extra pull out bed) if your group is larger still. If you fancy adding a little luxury, the hot tub sits on the patio overlooking the grounds and is available for an additional charge. There is private parking for 7 cars, a 22Kw electric vehicle charger and high speed broadband, plus quiet spaces if you need to catch up on work. Underfloor heating downstairs and individually controlled bedroom heating keep things cosy when the Cornish weather is a bit hit and miss. With beaches, coastal walks, villages and West Cornwall’s attractions on the doorstep, there is plenty to keep everyone happy.
