Set in the heart of Porthmadog, this beautifully refurbished Victorian townhouse, which sleeps up to 9 guests, combines period character with generous living spaces, comfortable bedrooms and a relaxed atmosphere that works equally well for an extended family gathering or a holiday with close friends. The real showstopper is the outlook from the house. From the lounge and patio, uninterrupted views stretch across Porthmadog Harbour towards the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia). A lovely place to start the day with coffee outside, return to after a day exploring, or simply to relax and watch the changing light over the water. The small enclosed patio garden adds a welcome private outdoor space for al fresco meals and drinks. Spread over 4 floors, there is plenty of room in this house to ensure it never feels crowded. The large kitchen and dining area is designed for long breakfasts, leisurely suppers and catching up around the table, while 2 separate lounges offer a choice between sociable evenings and quieter moments with a book or film. With 4 bedrooms and space for up to 9 guests, the house gives everyone room to make themselves at home. The location is another of Ty Harbwr’s great strengths. Porthmadog’s cafés, pubs and shops are just a couple of minutes away on foot, while the beaches of Borth y Gest are around 15 minutes away. Beyond the town, the landscape of Eryri (Snowdonia National Park) provides endless opportunities for walking, cycling and mountain adventures, with adrenalin-fuelled experiences available at Zip World and Go Below. The Cambrian coast is close at hand for fabulous coastal stretches, and a trip to the enchanting Portmeirion Italian Village is highly recommended. The royal town of Caernarfon is 30 minutes away with a Unesco World Heritage Site castle, or take a boat trip past Anglesey and Llanddwyn Island, and you may be lucky enough to spot some dolphins. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Well behaved dogs are allowed by prior arrangement. - **WiFi:** WiFi throughout. - **Everyone Can Dine Together:** Long dining table for all guests.
