The owners have put heart and soul into renovating this gorgeous farmstead retaining many of the original floors and stained glass windows. The kitchen is very well set up for cooking group meals and the open plan design makes the dining area a hugely sociable space, with fantastic views too, across Porth Neigwl Bay and the Irish Sea. If the weather behaves, why not stoke the barbecue and enjoy some al fresco dining. Two lounges provide options for a mixed generational group and both are stylish spaces complete with comfy sofas and wide screen TVs. The upstairs sitting room can double up as a games room.

Pwllheli, the capital of the Llyn, is a good day out boasting one of the best modern marinas in the UK. There are art galleries and independent cafes to explore, or perhaps book a coastal cruise to spot some local marine life.
