Tyn y Cae provides a wonderful holiday experience for large groups of up to 21 people.
This large Victorian Country House has a 4* Visit Wales grading and is set within spacious grounds (2 acres). The property is located on the doorstep of the Brecon Beacons National Park, surrounded by outstanding countryside with a tremendous variety of activities on offer.

Prices include heating, electricity, linen, towels and logs for the wood-burning stoves.

WiFi is available throughout via a fibre connection and there is good mobile coverage. There is a large secure storage space for bikes and pushchairs. Two utility rooms provide washing machines and tumble dryers.

Tyn y Cae is a 10 minute walk to the ever popular Three Horseshoes Pub in Groesffordd, renowned for its excellent food and real ales. It is also within striking distance of the Brecon Canal, Taff Trail and Cycle Route 8 (Lon Las).

Dog Friendly

Well behaved dogs allowed but must remain on the ground floor. Must be kept under control because of sheep in surrounding fields.

Freesat TV in both lounges and the two family bedrooms. Wireless music speaker and WiFi access.

Barn with full size table tennis table and 7 x 4 slate bed pool table.

Heating and Open Fires

Tyn y Cae has two wood-burning stoves in total, one in each living room. Wood for the stoves is provided.

Tyn y Cae has 9 bedrooms: 2 family, 2 king, 3 double, 1 twin and 1 single.

Linen

All linen and towels provided.

Bathrooms

Tyn y Cae has 7 bathrooms. 4 are ensuite.

Prices are based on an occupancy of 21 people. Short break prices from £1600 (low season) to £2400 (high season). We require a 20% deposit to secure the booking.

Location

Approx 2.5km east of Brecon centre and 800m north of Groesffordd village. Tyn y Cae is within easy access of both the A470 and A40. Cardiff (and its airport) is approximately 50 minutes to the south.

Brecon is approximately 2.5km to the west of Tyn y Cae. There is a right of way leading over the hill to Brecon, or you can go via the canal route or Cycle Route 8 which both take a bit longer.
Approximately 2.5km away, either at Bishops Meadow or in Brecon itself. Brecon has 2 supermarkets (Aldi and Morrisons) and a variety of smaller shops including butchers and bakeries.
3 Horseshoes in Brecon is a 10 minute walk away serving excellent food and real ales. The award winning Felinfach Griffin is 4 miles north. A variety of pubs and eateries can be found in Brecon.
Cardiff Airport is approximately 50 miles to the south. Heathrow is approximately 160 miles to the east.
Abergavenny train station is approximately 18 miles from Tyn y Cae.
Brecon bus station is approximately 2.5km from Tyn y Cae.
