Vale Farm, a traditional working farm which is close to Brecon, Builth Wells, Hay on Wye, Crickhowell and Abergavenny, enjoys a peaceful setting deep in the heart of Wales in the picturesque hamlet of Lower Chapel on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, surrounded by beautiful scenery. With so many walks and cycle routes, as well as many other outdoor activities, there's something to keep every member of your group occupied and happy. Cycle and motorbike storage available.

Vale Farmhouse available from April 2025 -Â Sleeps 10 + 2 infants in 4 bedrooms
Rowan sleeps 9 + 2 infants in 4 bedrooms
Oak sleeps 7 + 1 infant in 3 bedrooms
Walnut sleeps 4 + 1 infant in 2 bedrooms (second bedroom has low ceilings)
Chestnut, Hornbeam and Wild Cherry sleep 4 in each in 1 bedroom, these are adjacent with interlinking balconies (plus 1 infant in each in a travel cot).
Vale Farm Cottages offer a great location to meet up with family and friends, and bring your dog on holiday too! The cottages are also happy to cater for groups and business trips.
Vale Farm Cottages are stylish comfortable cottages which have been created from a range of traditional barns in a courtyard setting. These family friendly cottages combine character with modern living. All feature original oak beams and have spacious living rooms. Rowan, Oak and Walnut each have a sun room with big windows to enjoy the stunning views, while Chestnut, Hornbeam and Wild Cherry have sheltered balconies, all with spectacular views of Pen y Fan and the Black Mountains and ideal for alfresco dining or a barbecue. Vale Farmhouse has a lovely spacious conservatory offering stunning views. There's also an indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub with showers and separate changing rooms. Rowan and Vale Farmhouse also have a hot tub each for exclusive use on the cottage's patio.
Our farm is a fully working farm and we offer three mapped walks between 3-5km including up to our very own Trig Point. Children are well catered for - there is an outdoor play area with swings and a slide.Â
