All of the cottages have very comfortable warm accommodation and benefit from south facing patios and gardens for shared barbecues and al fresco dining. A major plus is that the cottages are all dog friendly so you can bring 4 legged family members along to share the excitement.
For a group, Holt and Drey can be combined to create a cottage for 10, with dining for 10 too, perfect for an extended family gathering, 2 smaller families or couples. Couch Cottage is all on the ground floor, a bonus for grandparents or anyone less mobile. Holt has 2 ground floor bedrooms and Granary has 1, also handy for a mixed age range or for parents with young children.
All of the kitchens are well and thoughtfully equipped, including a dishwasher and washer dryer, handy for managing wet walking gear. Lounges are comfy places to chill out at the end of a fun day, catching up over a drink or watching a favourite box set. There is a handy combination of bedroom types, kings, twins and doubles nearly all with en suites. All 6 cottages have contemporary baths and showers or baths with showers over. The Moor to Sea Cycle Route is a real challenge for keen cyclists who can take in the coast at Scarborough or Whitby, and Forbidden Corner in Middleham, is a fascinating discovery of caves and tunnels, not for the faint hearted.
