Grange-over-Sands is a very special seaside town overlooking Morecambe Bay, traditional with a long prom and ornamental gardens to explore and the best sea views. The beach is saltmarsh, teeming with wildlife, and especially good for birdwatching. Overlooking the bay, Victoria Mount has been lovingly refurbished to create an amazing family holiday home offering luxury living, flexible accommodation and excellent amenities making it a fantastic choice for multi generational families, friends, small business groups and walkers. Victoria Mount is suitable for the less mobile,  with ground floor level access, a super king or twin bedroom and wheelchair friendly wet room plus disabled call point.

Set across 3 floors, the house has a games room on the lower ground floor, opening onto a terrace with covered area for rainy days or evenings around the firepit. The ground floor has a well equipped open plan kitchen with an arch through to a formal dining room for 14. Gather the group here for long family dinners or opt for an informal breakfast at the farmhouse kitchen table. The lounge has beautiful Victorian high ceilings and a feature fireplace along with a Smart TV and comfy sofas. Doors open out to more outside terrace seating, a glass balcony and dining area for barbecues and watching the ever changing bay whilst the sun sets. Relax over a glass of bubbly in the 6 seater hot tub and reconnect with old friends and family. Children are taken care of with an all weather lawn for games, table tennis, table football and a play area.

Stylish bedrooms, each with en suite facilities, offer a choice of superkings (1 king) or twins (with the use of zip and links) plus a rollaway bed in the ground floor and lower ground floor room, ideal for a mixed age gathering.

Only a short stroll away are bars, pubs, restaurants and cafes as well as supermarkets to pick up supplies. Arnside and Hest Bank beaches are within easy reach, as is the Coastal Path. The Lake District is only 5 minutes away - make the most of pretty towns and opportunities for watersports and walking trails. Holker Hall and Gardens are worth a visit for amazing parkland and woodland as well as the Menil fallow deer.

Booking Information

Normal check in day is Friday. No weekend only bookings in the school holidays.

Check in from 4pm, via key safe at the main entrance, check out by 9am on Fridays to allow for cleaning, but normally 11am on other days. Guests are welcome to park in the drive earlier providing they don’t block access for the cleaners and can put items in the fridge/freezer if required.

We have a strict no pets policy. No stags or hens please. No smoking or vaping in the house.

10% deposit required on booking. Balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. Credit card or bank transfer acceptable.

£500 Good housekeeping bond required – taken as a card swipe only.

EV Charging available (2 chargers), electricity invoiced separately based on usage, at approx. 35p/kWh. All other utilities and hot tub included in the rental.

Full House Guide with lots of information about the house, local facilities, places to eat and to visit, including local maps, will be provided 3 weeks prior to arrival. Many guests have commented this is the most comprehensive set of information they have ever received!
