Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends.
Victoria Spa Lodge, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, sleeps 5-10 in 5 bedrooms.
Victoria Spa Lodge is a large listed house on the north side of Stratford-upon-Avon. Built as a hotel in the time of William IV, the young Queen Victoria stayed here 6 weeks before her coronation. With Royal permission, her personal coat of arms are carved within the gables and on the fireplaces of the three bedrooms on the first floor. Set alongside a canal, the towpath leads to delightful villages in one direction and the centre of historic Stratford in the other.
This is a fabulous setting for a celebration or a business gathering, with plenty of space for large numbers. Up to 10 can comfortably dine together in style. The location of Victoria Spa Lodge is perfect for getting together friends and family from all points of the compass, with excellent transport links. Once here, Stratford has much to offer, both with its connections with Shakespeare and as a thriving town. The beautiful countryside of the Cotswolds is close by.
This period property has been extensively refurbished and the grounds re-landscaped. The main reception room has a large sofa, a chaise longue and armchairs, along with a handsome working fireplace, above which is a large gilt mirror that on the press of a button becomes a television. Family portraits adorn the walls.
The main window in the reception room has views to the front of the house where there is a terrace, a fountain, a parasol and a dining table with garden chairs.
The five bedrooms all have en suite facilities and are individually styled. Two extra singles can be placed in bedrooms for additional guests if required.
The parking area can accommodate up to five cars with one space retained for the owners.
Victoria Spa Lodge also has its separate private quarters for the owners and staff. Our staff can assist if adequate notice is given.
Please contact the owners for prices for your chosen dates.
