### About The Area

Set between the Mediterranean Sea and the Montgó mountains Jávea is one of those places where a holiday can move at exactly the pace you choose. Spend the morning swimming in clear turquoise water, enjoy a long lunch by the coast, wander through the old town in the afternoon, and finish the day watching the sun disappear over the Mediterranean.

Jávea, or Xàbia in Valencian, has retained much of its traditional character while offering everything you need for a relaxed coastal escape. Its coastline is wonderfully varied, from the lively Arenal promenade and sandy beach to small coves tucked between rocky cliffs. The historic centre sits inland, with narrow streets, traditional stone buildings, independent shops and local restaurants.

For active days, there are coastal walks, cycling routes, water sports, kayaking and sailing, while the Montgó Natural Park provides a natural setting for exploring on foot. Food is another part of the experience, with fresh seafood, rice dishes and Mediterranean flavours featuring prominently on local menus.

What makes Jávea particularly appealing is the balance between atmosphere and space. You can spend the day exploring beaches and restaurants, yet still find quieter corners away from the crowds. It is a destination suited to families, groups of friends and celebrations alike, with plenty to discover both on the coast and inland.

From Villa Palmview, Jávea’s beaches, restaurants and historic centre are all within easy reach, giving you the freedom to explore the area before returning to your own private Mediterranean retreat.
