This lovely location is perfect for a break away with friends and family. Set in 180 acres of beautiful parkland overlooking the River Ribble and its own 17th century manor house, Waddow Hall Estate in Lancashire provides the ideal choice for gatherings where the emphasis is on something a little bit different. Many outdoor activities are offered on site to excite and challenge all group types along with flexible accommodation types and facilities. Easy access to both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District is a bonus for walkers and cyclists who want to venture further afield. Nearby Clitheroe is well worth a visit, especially the castle and museum, or have a wander around its plethora of independent shops and cafes. Clitheroe has become the food capital of Lancashire in recent years.

Waddow Hall Estate is all about trying something new. The wide range of activities on offer means that there is something for everyone. Whether it's canoeing, climbing, archery or even grass sledging, just a small sample, experienced staff will create bespoke challenges to excite everyone in the group. Personal development is pretty important but so is maximum fun and enjoyment.

The self-catering accommodation is spread across 6 individual properties. Adventure House has step free access and accessible sleeping and bathroom facilities. Small Rose Cottages provide quiet little getaway spaces for those wanting a little bit of peace in a three generation gathering. All properties have well equipped kitchens to prepare large meals to enjoy together in large dining rooms. Alternatively, a fully catered stay is possible in the Main Hall, a 17th-century manor house with comfortable bedrooms and spectacular views across the Ribble Valley.

All cottages provide a handy mix of sleeping options with singles, twins and bunk beds in small dormitories. Adventure House is a bungalow style block with disabled access and 2 en-suites in triple rooms.

- **Sitting Room:** Ranger has an open fire. Stables has a large lounge. Adventure has a separate activity room. The Rose cottages have living rooms with sofas and TV.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** The Main Hall, Adventure House, Ranger Cottage, Rose Cottage One, Rose Cottage Three and The Stables has TV facilities in the rooms.
- **Games Room:** There is no games room.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** All buildings are centrally heated, and there is an open fire in Ranger Cottage and Rose Cottage One.
- **Bedrooms:** The rooms in the self-catering buildings are bunks/single beds. The rooms in the Main Hall are all en-suite with quads, triples, doubles and singles.
- **Linen:** Linen is provided in the Main Hall, Adventure House, Rose Cottage One, Rose Cottage Three, Ranger Cottage and The Stables.
- **Bathrooms:** All rooms in the main house are en-suite and the self-catering buildings all have bathrooms with showers.
- **Children's Facilities:** There are plenty of onsite activities for children (and adults!). Ask about high chair and travel cot.
