## About The Property

Set within five acres of formal gardens and 27 acres of private parkland, Walcot Hall Estate is a Grade II listed Georgian stately home in the North Lincolnshire countryside. Elegant, secluded and rich in character, it offers the rare pleasure of having a private stately home entirely to yourselves.

Created for those who value space, privacy and the quiet art of occasion, the estate is made for family gatherings, milestone celebrations, special birthdays and elegant weekends away. At its heart, the main Georgian house sleeps 14 guests across seven individually styled bedrooms, with a minimum two-night stay.

For a little more indulgence, the Lady Walcot Suite can be added, sleeping two further guests. Rich fabrics, an emperor bed sourced from a Milanese castle, a roll-top bath and Clive Christian details make it the most opulent room in the house. Five additional guest beds are also available, bringing the main house capacity to 21.

Inside, marble fireplaces, roaring winter fires, high ceilings, sash windows and fine antiques create a wonderful sense of heritage and grandeur. Reception rooms invite slow evenings and champagne before dinner, while the grand dining room is made for memorable meals. A traditional Aga sits at the heart of the kitchen, with a private chef available on request. At Christmas, the house is beautifully dressed, complete with a magnificent 15 ft tree in the grand hall.

Beyond the house, manicured lawns, formal gardens and peaceful parkland offer space to truly switch off. Guests can enjoy long walks, outdoor dining, the private tennis court and an optional hot tub, while horses graze across the surrounding countryside.

For larger groups, Apple Blossom Yurt sleeps four and Snowdrop Lodge sleeps two, taking the total estate capacity to 27 guests. Up to two dogs are welcome by arrangement, with a small charge.

Walcot Hall Estate is for guests who want more than a weekend away. It is for those who want the doors opened, the fires lit, the table laid and the feeling, even just for a few days, that they have stepped into their own private stately home.

- **Hot Tub:** A private hot tub is available at an additional cost.

- **Kitchen:** Fully equipped breakfast kitchen including 4-oven Aga, dishwasher, American-style fridge freezer, utensils/dinnerware/pots and pans. Dining for 4.
- **Dining Room:** Seating for up to 60 at round tables can be set up according to your group requirements, but please provide details when booking.
- **Sitting Room:** Large screen TV. Seating for 12/14. Antique writing desk. Large open fire and marble fireplace. Formal sitting room has dining room for 12.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Radio in kitchen, TVs in each bedroom and sitting room, DVD players can be arranged. In house sound bar.
- **Games Room:** Although we don't keep any games on site, we can provide plenty of space for games to be brought with guests. Please just let us know when booking.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Snug and drawing room both have an open fire. Bio-mass central heating.
- **Bedrooms:** 1 x King with en-suite, 3 x King with Jack and Jill bathroom, 1 x King connected to 1 x children's bedroom + bathroom, 1 x downstairs King bedroom.
- **Linen:** All linen provided and feather pillows. One hand and bath towel per person.
- **Bathrooms:** En-suite shower and bath in bridal room, Jack and Jill bathroom with enormous claw bath and shower.

Walcot Hall Estate is beautifully positioned near the charming village of Alkborough in North Lincolnshire, where rolling countryside and sweeping views create a true sense of seclusion. While the estate feels wonderfully private, it is also ideally located in the middle of the country, making it a convenient meeting point for guests travelling from both the north and south. 

The estate is just ten minutes from the M18, offering excellent access to major motorway routes across the UK. Doncaster is approximately 45 minutes away, with direct rail connections from central London taking around 1 hour and 40 minutes. For international guests, the nearest international airport is around 30 minutes away, while helicopter landing is also available by arrangement. 

The estate is within easy reach of some of the region’s most highly regarded dining destinations. Among them are the ever-admired San Pietro Restaurant, a favourite for those with a taste for Italian indulgence, and the illustrious Winteringham Fields, Lincolnshire’s MICHELIN-starred restaurant, where refinement is served in every course. 

For those looking for something more relaxed, The Paddocks Tea Room is just a short walk away and offers a pleasant spot for a light bite or afternoon treat.
