At Walnut Arbour beautiful old willow barns have been lovingly converted into luxury holiday accommodation, retaining original feature beams while providing great open plan living and a range of quality facilities including a private spa and games room. This retreat in an area of outstanding natural beauty is the perfect setting for gathering together extended family and friends for a holiday, celebration or a special weekend away. And the location is convenient too, just 8 miles from the M5.

The dining tables inside and out are made for long suppers catching up with news and creating special memories. Prepare meals effortlessly in the large fully equipped kitchen or head to the patio barbecue via direct access from the kitchen. The traditional lounge is a cosy space for relaxing in the evening, with a wood burner and masses of sofa seating for all guests.

Walnut Arbour provides a welcome retreat, where you can swim in the indoor pool, take a dip in the hot tub and soothe muscles in the barrel sauna or steam room. Walks and cycle routes from the doorstep mean that guests can absorb the beauty of Somerset Levels countryside without the car. And the dog is welcome. Youngsters will love having their own space in the games room for snooker or table football, with more sofas and a large TV with Sky Q. The outside climbing frame and slide provides somewhere for little ones to play, and there are toys and games to occupy them indoors.

The bedrooms can all be configured as doubles or twins (using zip and links) and 2 are on the ground floor. Clean lines, windows with views and crisp bedding make bedrooms peaceful spaces for a great night's rest. 2 bedrooms upstairs have en suite facilities. 2 additional day beds are also available, chargeable as extras.

Walnut Arbour is well situated for enjoying a range of family days out - several lovely beaches on the dramatic Jurassic coastline for fossil-hunting (an hour away), Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge, National Trust properties and RSPB reserves. And country pubs for lazy lunches or cider farms for tastings.

- Minimum stay at weekends 2 nights out of season, 3 nights in the summer. Midweeks are 4 nights.
