Walpole House sleeps 19 in 8 bedrooms (plus 2 double sofa beds for additional 4 guests). One night midweek stays out of season, great for corporate groups or school field trips.

This fantastic large holiday house in Margate is designed with extended families and groups of friends in mind. Located in a popular area of the town, Walpole House offers great accommodation for a family holiday or weekend break with friends near the wonderful Kent coast with beautiful sandy beaches and walks in easy reach. It's dog friendly too. Margate is easily reached from the south east of the UK, a lovely seaside town with a famous sandy beach and a tidal pool. The town and old town offer fabulous bars and restaurants for an evening out.

Walpole House comprises 2 properties. The main house is a light filled space with a gorgeous lounge, dining for 19 guests and a well equipped kitchen, plus a 47" 4K Smart TV for streaming demands. The annexe is self contained with its own kitchen and lounge and perfect for a young family or grandparents wanting a bit of peace and privacy. There is a ground floor bedroom but the bathroom is upstairs. The enclosed garden and patio areas allow guests to make the most of the Kent micro-climate, with access from both properties for morning coffee, a barbecue or a cold beer after a day at the beach.

The total of 8 bedrooms across the 2 houses consist of 3 ziplink kings (may be configured as 6 full size singles), 2 doubles, a triple and a quad room, with a further bedroom in the annexe. Accommodation is individually designed with windows offering views. 2 of the 3 shared modern bathrooms have baths with showers over.

There is a lot going on in Margate. The old town has a good vibe thriving with independent shops, galleries, coffee houses, escape rooms and a market place with vintage stalls. Margate has its own blue flag beaches. Dreamland offers a fabulous amusement park as well as many A-list bands. Whitstable is 30 minutes away, for delicious oysters and colourful beach huts. The Kent Downs and Kent Downs Way is around an hour away for hiking and cycling trails.

## Booking Information

- 1 night midweek stays out of peak season, great for corporate groups or school trips. Check in from 4pm, check out by 10am. Self check in with lock box.

- No parties or events that involve anybody other than guests residing at the property. This is a residential area so please keep in mind the neighbours.
- 
- Dogs allowed but please ensure you clean up after them and don’t allow on furniture, upstairs or on beds.
- 
- No smoking in or near the house. Smoking ok in garden but please clear up.
- 
- The annexe has step free access to the sea. It also has a bedroom (zip link super king) downstairs. Note however, the bathroom is upstairs.
