These 2 luxury holiday houses on Ullswater are the perfect choice for 3 generation families and friends to meet for a special celebration or small wedding reception. Waternook and The Great Barn are also proving popular with executives getting together for time away from the workplace.

It's all about the lakeside location, panoramic views and opulent design as well as a whole host of extras including a private cinema, lake view hot tub, Laconium and lake view dining. There is also an optional concierge service providing details for helicopter flights, private dining and a multitude of outdoor activities.

Elegant style in both houses combines traditional vaulted ceilings with contemporary design features for quality and comfortable open plan living with the best of everything. The Lake Room in The Great Barn is a gorgeous snug living space but can be used, by prior arrangement, as a function room for group dining, banquets or conferencing. It ticks a lot of boxes and is perfect for special occasions. Both bespoke kitchens come well equipped with all modern appliances, for cooking together and eating at sociable dining tables. The Yoga infinity terrace is a great place for taking in the views of lake and mountain and chilling out in the hot tub or Laconium room.

Individually named and styled bedroom suites provide the most comfortable places to sleep on handmade beds with Vi-Spring Elite mattresses. Beautiful decor, picture windows, wall mounted TVs and en suites complete the experience. Stone and porcelain bathrooms offer a combination of monsoon or rain showers and fabulous freestanding baths.

27 acres of private estate and just a short walk to the water's edge mean there is no real need to leave for the duration of your stay. Visit Dalemain Mansion or Lowther Castle for a history fix or opt for a cruise on the Ullswater Steamers connecting to some of the most iconic Lake District hiking routes.
