Waterside Cottage is a charming waterfront country holiday cottage near Leighton Buzzard, with some parts that date back over 150 years. The cottage is set within lovely gardens and elevated above the Grand Union canal with idyllic views of the canal. This makes Waterside ideal for relaxing and watching canal boats pass by.

Waterside Cottage sleeps up to 11 and is ideal for families and family get togethers along with groups of friends and girls weekends. For those who like canoeing, fishing, walking and cycling, it's a great place to be. Bring your own canoes and bicycles. Day boats available for hire nearby (but not at the boatyard).

Waterside Cottage offers comfortable accommodation, with a well equipped kitchen and dining for 10, although another chair can be added to the table as necessary. With 2 sitting rooms, there's space for the younger members of the group to do their own thing.

The cottage is situated within a working boatyard but with your own private front and back terraces. Enjoy the use of the beautifully kept boat yard lawns and gardens. 15 minute walk to the market town centre of Leighton Buzzard with good pubs, tea shops and places of interest as well as a leisure centre.

Nearby attractions include Whipsnade Zoo, Woburn Abbey and Safari Park, Ascott House and Gardens, Dunstable Downs, Chiltern Hills and Tring reservoirs famous for bird wildlife. For walkers there's the Ridgeway National Walking Trail. For canal enthusiasts try the Canal Museum and Waterways Centre at Stoke Bruerne.

## Booking Information

- Discounts for smaller groups. Waterside can be booked for weekend and 4 night mid week breaks starting on a Friday or Monday at 3.30pm. Departure time 10 am. Weekly or longer periods can either start on a Friday or Monday. Deposit 25% on booking and balance payment 8 weeks before arrival.
