The Dambuster's Inn is a 30 minutes walk away, an option for food or a pint before supper. For walkers there's the Scampton to Welton Trail, a shortish stroll into the nearby village. Lincoln is a good day out, full of historic attractions including the cathedral and the castle, and with a nice vibe, good shopping, cafes and bars.
