This extraordinary Grade II listed farmstead is heaven on earth, tastefully decorated with unique style, a special place to celebrate. The setting, architecture, paintings, attention to detail is exceptional. The gardens, grounds and landscape create a wow factor hard to find elsewhere. On the edge of the Skirrid Mountain, overlooking England and Wales, it's just a short walk to the top for 360 degree views across 8 counties.
With an eclectic design, the buildings retain original features dating back to 1570. Once the home of Captain Thomas James, the famous mariner who discovered the North West Passage, some of the beams are thought to come from ships of the period.
The Farmhouse is exceptionally spacious, offering 7 bedrooms (mostly en-suite), with 6 bathrooms and flexible accommodation sleeping 17 guests (+6 on pull out beds for an extra charge).
The Dairy offers 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, sleeping up to 12, (+4 pull out beds for extra charge).
The Cider House sleeps up to 5 over 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. (+2 on top bunk and pull out bed).
The Great Barn has cathedral sized grandeur with a vast suspended open fire and comfy sofas for 20, plus flexible tables for up to 46 and 2 WCs.
Each property has been carefully planned to be private and not overlooked so no fear of being disturbed by neighbours, but close enough for all to congregate in The Great Barn for meals, training, or creative sessions.
