## About The Property

West Acre offers our Corporate clients a market leading corporate package and venue; with the whole site is exclusively booked for every corporate event, our corporate groups are guaranteed absolute privacy. We offer outstanding meeting and working facilities with plenty of space for team building activities, and we also offer accommodation of the very highest standard; we are assessed 5 star Gold by Visit England and we were recently awarded  “Best Self Catering accommodation” in the Yorkshire Post Tourism Awards 2024.

Our corporate packages are aimed at the mid-week market; our standard package is a 2 or 3 night event, accommodating up to 7 overnight guests with up to 16 people in total able to be hosted – we offer a Corporate Support Package that will ensure you have everything you need for your visit. All our prices are quoted inclusive of VAT.

Our meeting facilities have two large tables (one inside, one outside) each seating up to 16 as well as numerous smaller break out areas. Our board room facility has a 65 inch display panel that delegates connect to via 2nd generation Barco Clickshare, we also have a Jaba Pancast 50 Video conference bar so anyone not at the meeting is able to dial in. Our Wi-fi is BT/EE full fibre 900 with download speeds of 100-900 MBS and upload of 110 MBS.

We are in a perfect location, central to all three counties of Yorkshire, close to the intersection of the M62 and the A1. We are less than half an hour from York and 45 minutes from Leeds, the nearby town of Selby has direct rail links to Leeds (22 mins) and London (2 hrs 22 mins). We have secure parking for a minimum of 8 cars and an on-site EV charger.

There will be no difficulty persuading the team to spend a few days midweek away from the office at West Acre, a house designed with groups in mind and well suited to the needs of a small corporate group.

West Acre has extensive reception areas including inside and outside dining, a south west facing sun terrace and an outside patio with a large African hut, all ideal for executive meetings with plenty of spaces for smaller planning groups to breakaway too. The cinema has a large screen, also ideal for presentations. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering but with our corporate support pack, we can arrange everything you could need for a successful event. We have a selection of private chefs and external caterers who can arrange all your meals and refreshments.

We have 7 luxurious bedrooms; upstairs we have 5 en-suite bedrooms, our two downstairs bedrooms have zip and lock beds and share a bathroom. We have a lift and the upstairs rooms is accessible for anyone in the group less mobile. There is also is another separate WC downstairs and an additional bathroom in the cinema room.

West Acre is an excellent choice for client entertaining too; this luxury country property with stunning views and fantastic facilities will no doubt impress business contacts and provide an environment conducive to constructive meetings and events.

For downtime there’s a large hot tub and sauna along with a games room pool table. The lounge with wood burner is a sociable space, or head to the cinema to watch a movie. Sit back on the terrace when the weather is pleasant and continue discussions informally over a few drinks.

Reward the team with an evening trip into Selby or an afternoon or evening out in beautiful York, for a wander around Shambles Market or a sightseeing cruise on the River Ouse.

- **Dog Friendly:** Very dog friendly, up to 4 well behaved dogs allowed (we do accept more dogs upon request), dog welcome basket for all our four legged guests.
- **Accessibility:** House is accessible, with a lift if needed. Our accessible en-suite bathroom has grab rails, shower chair etc. Downstairs toilet has grab rails.
- **Hot Tub:** The sun terrace has a 6 person hot tub as well as seating areas, sun loungers as well as a small kitchenette and Sauna.
- **WiFi:** Free WiFi available throughout the house. Good mobile reception.
- **Kitchen:** Induction hob, standard oven, large oven, steam oven, warming drawers, microwave, 2 fridges (one with water and ice dispenser), coffee machine.
- **Dining Room:** Dining room seats 12 people but can be extended to seat 16 if required. Kitchen table seats 8. Outdoor table seats 16 and also has a BBQ.
- **Sitting Room:** The main lounge has a large TV, lots of relaxing seating and a wood burning stove. The den has sofas, games consoles and TV.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** All bedrooms and most rooms have a TV. Sonos music system across the whole ground floor.
- **Games Room:** Dining table flips over into a full sized slate bed pool table. Outside there are many garden games including a table tennis, rounders and croquet.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** All downstairs rooms have underfloor heating. Main living room has a large wood burning stove, logs are supplied.
- **Bedrooms:** 5 en-suites with king or superking beds, 1 with zip and lock king bed plus family room with 2 zip and link king beds. All have TV and hairdryer.
- **Linen:** All linen and towels are provided free of charge. Bathing robes and slippers are also provided for all adult guests.
- **Bathrooms:** 5 bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with showers and sinks (2 also have a bath), 2 further bathrooms and a separate toilet
- **Children's Facilities:** Baby welcome pack plus cots and high chairs available, stair gates. Children's play area and play house outside, games provided for inside and out.
- **Outdoor:** Huge private garden, patio with dining and BBQ, table tennis, children's play area. Balcony with hot tub, seating and sun beds. African hut.
- **Parking:** Secure parking for up to 8 cars with EV charger.
- **Smoking:** Smoking is only allowed outside.
- **Electric Vehicle Charging:** We have a Voltshare EV charging point on site. Guests can use the charger via the Voltshare app - charges will apply.
- **Cinema Room:** Large Cinema room with a HD projector. Just bring along your firestick and stream whatever movie you would like.
- **Sauna:** Large Swedish Sauna available to all guests for that extra relaxation.
- **Everyone Can Dine Together:** Our dining table can be extended to comfortably sit 16 guests so everyone can dine together. Our our outside dining table also comfortably sits 16.
