Angus is a diverse county for a 3 generation family and friends' holiday, with stunning hills for walkers, great beaches, lots of fishing rivers and world class golf courses. Wester Auchleuchrie is a fantastic holiday house, well positioned and ideal for a get together or celebration.

The open plan living area is a sociable space; a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, with a table overlooking the garden for family meals. Relax in the double height glass atrium sitting area, the heart of the property, and throw open the patio doors. The house is very child friendly with plenty of toys and games. Upstairs is a drawing room, a tucked away quiet space.

Sit on the terrace overlooking the River Esk, catching up and banking special memories. The enclosed play area is a safe place for children to let off steam with a dedicated play house, and there's lots of space for up to 2 busy dogs to run around.

The 5 bedrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors are comfortable, with wood flooring  and glorious views. Two have a day bed and pull out trundle perfect for young families, while the glass-walled attic at the top of the atrium is a fabulous large room for a couple or the perfect den for the children.

On-site fishing is bookable in advance through Inshewan Estates. For golfers, Carnoustie is nearby. There are a golf practice net, mat and chipping net in the garden, an extremely popular golf driving range in Forfar, 3 golf courses within 10 miles and 11 in Angus altogether. Many of these are by the sea so the rest of the family can enjoy time on the wonderful sandy beaches.

Nearby castles for a day out include Glamis (home of the late Queen Mother), Crathes and Drum, with Dundee, Perth and Aberdeen easily accessible for restaurants, culture and shopping. This area of Angus offers fantastic walking opportunities around the Vale of Strathmore and into the foothills of the Highlands and extensive moorland beyond. Of the Angus Glens, Glen Clova is the best known, steep-sided and dramatic, whilst Glen Esk in the east is long and magical. To the west are Glen Prosen and Glen Isla.
