It is situated 3 miles from the spa town of Buxton. The house has 2 large reception rooms, a games room, drying room and an 80 seat dining room. There are 10 dormitory style bedrooms and 6 other bedrooms varying from singles to 6 bedded, with 3 double beds scattered around the property. A large kitchen is complete with all utensils and necessary equipment, including an industrial dishwasher. The house is used as an outdoor education centre for most of the year, and activities can be arranged on request and with additional costs. The location is ideal for accessing many outdoor activities; climbing, road and mountain biking, fantastic running on fell and trail, walking and caving, with White Hall providing an excellent accommodation base. The beautiful Goyt Valley is 2 miles away, the moors of Kinder Scout and Edale, Castleton, Bakewell, Lathkill Dale, Hadden Hall and Chatsworth House are all within easy drive. Combs Moss is directly behind White Hall and offers great walking routes on your doorstep. The centre is suitable for school groups, youth groups, sports clubs and large family groups. We also have a large fire pit that groups can use for toasting those marshmallows on, a gas BBQ is available to hire at a small additional cost. Please note, we have a zero tolerance policy on the use of candles. The use of candles and naked flames goes against our insurance policy.  The house is available on a self catering basis only. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Sorry no pets allowed. - **Accessibility:** There are no specific disabled facilities. - **WiFi:** Pay phone and WiFi available. - **Kitchen:** A large catering kitchen. Hot and cold drinks-making area. Industrial dishwasher. - **Dining Room:** Large family style dining room and second dining area which seats up to 80 people in total. - **Sitting Room:** We have a large main lounge, large meeting room with overhead projector and television and games room. - **TV and Music Facilities:** There is a wall mounted large TV. - **Games Room:** There is a games room with a pool table and table tennis. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating throughout the house. - **Bedrooms:** Variety of dormitory style rooms ranging from single to a 12 person bunk bed room. Other rooms contain a mixture of single, double and bunk beds. - **Linen:** All bedding is provided. Please bring your own towels. - **Bathrooms:** First floor has two main bathrooms with washing facilities and toilets and two further bathrooms with shower. Ground floor has two large shower rooms. - **Children's Facilities:** Table tennis, table football and pool table in games room. - **Outdoor:** Large lawned area with football and volley ball nets. - **Swimming Pool:** There is no swimming pool. There is one at Buxton, 3 miles away. - **Parking:** Large parking to the front with 14 places. Larger carpark to the rear for 20+ cars.
