## About The Property

This is a super comfortable holiday home in the Welsh Marches with many extras to make a break away something really special. In a previous life, Whitehall was a barn and a dairy, farm buildings now transformed into contemporary holiday accommodation while retaining many stunning traditional features. Vaulted ceilings with original beams create a feeling of space and height and large windows draw the light in against the stunning backdrop of Snowdonia and the Berwyn Mountains. It's just right for multi-generation families and friends getting together for a reunion or important celebration. Road access is good, too, for those getting together from different parts of the country.

The open plan kitchen diner at Whitehall is perfect for cooking together and eating at the sociable table made for long evenings with good food, wine and conversation. A few steps down takes you to the old cattle feeding area which is now a fantastically cosy lounge filled with cushioned sofas, with a TV and bi-fold doors opening onto the garden. It's pretty perfect at any time of day or in any season. An up-cycled beech wood feature spiral staircase is central to the renovation leading to 2 of the bedrooms and a landing area with extra seating. It's a great spot to read a book or maybe paint a picture of the fantastic landscape backdrop.

The garden is a lovely enclosed space with 2 patios, one for barbecues and another for chilling out in the wood fired hot tub while the more energetic guests enjoy a game of badminton on the grass. It's safe for the dogs too.

The 5 bedrooms continue the theme of beamed ceilings and lots of space. All are individually designed with an emphasis on comfort and relaxation. 3 have en suites. The ground floor wheelchair accessible bedroom has underfloor heating and an adjoining wet room for anyone less mobile in a mixed age group.

From Whitehall Dairy there is hours of pretty walks from the door. Montgomery isn't far away, a Welsh border town known for an impressive castle and plenty of stop offs for afternoon tea. Welshpool is a short drive to visit the stunning Powys Castle or to take a trip on a steam railway.
