## About The Property

Set in a stunning rural location less than 10 minutes from Cheltenham, Whittington House is the ideal base for a relaxing family holiday, special birthday celebration, or reunion of friends. Whittington House sleeps 12 to 16 (if you include the sofa bed in the snug, and two folding beds) in six bedrooms and is available for full week stays, long weekends, and midweek breaks.

Whether you've come to go to the races in Cheltenham Gold Cup week, for a walking holiday in the country, or just want to relax with friends and family and explore the pubs and villages of the Cotswolds at a leisurely pace, you'll find everything you need here.

All the essentials like tea, coffee, milk, butter, as well as toiletries, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, etc. are provided. You will also find a delightful welcome hamper with bread, fresh fruit, cake or biscuits, soft drinks and more when you arrive. A large breakfast kitchen with two ovens and plenty of work surfaces and a dining table for 16 means you can comfortably cater for large groups (or order catering in).

You'll have plenty of space all to yourselves, with generously proportioned rooms furnished to a very high standard throughout, year round covered heated pool, and three acres of grounds outside - we can even offer stabling and grazing for a couple of horses if required. Escape from the city and come and enjoy the delights of luxurious Cotswold country living for a while!

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Up to 3 well behaved dogs are accepted (£35 per dog). Please keep them off furniture and out of the bedrooms.
- **Accessibility:** The downstairs ensuite bedroom is close to the front door and kitchen and (although not fully step-free) is suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
- **WiFi:** Fast 300 Mbit/s WiFi throughout the property.
- **Kitchen:** Large kitchen with both an electric AGA and regular oven and hob, American-style fridge freezer, dishwasher.
- **Dining Room:** Large dining table seats up to 16.
- **Sitting Room:** Large family TV lounge, and a separate cosy snug for the grown ups.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** 55" smart TV, DVD player and a selection of discs.
- **Games Room:** Pool table and table football. Selection of card and board games and books. Trampoline, football and croquet outside.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Log burner (logs are provided).
- **Bedrooms:** Downstairs ensuite bedroom. Upstairs 2 ensuite bedrooms (1 superking, 1 double), 1 double, 1 twin, and 1 bunk room. Sofa bed and 2 Z-beds on request.
- **Linen:** Luxury bed linen, towels and toiletries provided. There is also a hair drier, washer-drier, iron, ironing board.
- **Bathrooms:** As well as 3 en suites there is a large luxury family bathroom, with walk in shower and large bath, and a downstairs WC.
- **Children's Facilities:** Bunk bed room, high chair and cot, stair gate.
- **Outdoor:** Large (nearly 1 acre) lawn for ball games, croquet or badminton. Barbecue, sun loungers, and seating. Trampoline. Stables and 2 acre paddock.
- **Swimming Pool:** Heated pool (26-31C depending on the weather) with a retractable cover is available year round. 9m x 4.5m (depth 1.4m).
- **Parking:** There is plenty of off road parking for at least a dozen cars (or a horsebox!).
- **Smoking:** No smoking in the property. Smoking is permitted outside (covered).
