The venue is ideally suited to a wide range of groups, whether school day and/or residential outdoor educational trips, scouts/guides or corporate team building events and/or meetings. We also cater for community groups and those simply requiring a meeting venue. Due to it's stunning location, the venue also attracts live action role play groups and is a superb location for weddings and celebrations, with plenty of room for a marquee.
We offer facilities for mixed groups and/or exclusive hire. Boy and girl groups can be separated. Staff/leader accommodation with separate shower and toilet block.
Catering, where required, is prepared on site by our talented kitchen team using local produce and the finest ingredients. We pride ourselves on our tasty, home cooked meals! Full catering options available. Special dietary requirements can be catered for.
The beautiful multi-purpose room is suitable for use as a common room, meeting room or banquet hall comfortably seating 60. This room is decorated to a high standard and is the heart of the building. We also have two other meeting rooms suitable for teaching rooms or break out rooms seating around 20.
We have a commercial kitchen and dining room together with outside buildings and 29 acres of land. Farm animals on site.
On-site activities include bush craft, archery, crate stack, problem solving, orienteering, climbing wall, tunnel trail, abseiling, challenge course, hill walking, environmental studies and a dedicated Saxon Day, with off-site activities available, such as open canoeing, kayaking, raft building, rock climbing, mountain biking, caving and more besides.
