## About The Property

The Wilderness Centre is a stunning venue ideally suited to corporate team building events and/or meetings. This residential outdoor activity centre offers boardroom and break-out room facilities, with team building activities available on and off site.

We also cater for community groups and those simply requiring a meeting venue. Due to it’s stunning location, the venue also attracts live action role play groups and is a superb location for weddings and celebrations. Plenty of room for a marquee!

We offer facilities for mixed groups and/or exclusive hire, with 10 bedroomed spacious dormitory style bunk bed accommodation, rooms sleeping from 2 to 8 people. Bottom sheets and pillows. Camping available. There are separate male/ female shower blocks, as well as separate team leader accommodation with shower and toilet block available.

Catering, if required, is prepared on site by our talented kitchen team using local produce and the finest ingredients. We pride ourselves on our tasty, home cooked meals! Full catering options available whether hot or cold. Allergies and special dietary requirements can be catered for. Groups can all eat together in our dining room. Accommodation or self catered only options also available.

We have a beautiful multi-purpose room suitable for use as a meeting room or banquet hall comfortably seating 60 people. This room is decorated to a high standard and is the heart of the building. We also have two rooms suitable for meeting rooms/break out rooms each comfortably seating around 20 people.

Set within 29 acres on the edge of the Forest of Dean, activities range from on-site activities such as bush craft, archery, crate stack, problem solving, orienteering, climbing wall, tunnel trail, abseiling, challenge course and hill walking, with off-site activities such as open canoeing, kayaking, raft building, rock climbing, mountain biking, caving and more besides. Or simply chill out and relax!

- **Dog Friendly:** Pets can be accommodated.
- **Accessibility:** Access to bedrooms at first floor level. Access to ground floor via ramp. Disabled shower and toilet facilities ground and first floor.

- **Dining Room:** Adjacent to the kitchen, funky and fun, seating up to 50 per sitting. Outdoor dining facilities available.
- **Sitting Room:** Our beautiful multi-purpose room suitable for use as a common room, meeting room or banquet hall comfortably seating 60 people.
- **Games Room:** Table football and board games available - a dedicated games area can be set up depending on your requirements. Please contact us.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating. No open fires.
- **Bedrooms:** 10 spacious bedrooms dormitory style bunks. Rooms sleep from 2 to 8. Total 54 plus camping. Wardrobes. Pillows provided.
- **Linen:** Pillows provided.
- **Bathrooms:** Separate girls/boys shower and toilet blocks. Separate shower/toilet block for teachers/leaders. No en suite facilities.
- **Outdoor:** Picnic benches, pizza oven, barbecues and extensive grounds amounting to 29 acres. Camp fires by agreement.
- **Swimming Pool:** There is no swimming pool. The nearest is only a couple of miles away at Cinderford.
- **Parking:** On-site parking.
- **Smoking:** No smoking inside the buildings. Smoking permitted outside.
