Nestled within 3.5 acres of beautiful private parkland and lakes, Willowbank Lodges offers 5 luxurious and spacious log cabins in the peaceful hamlet of Milkhouse Water, near Pewsey. Surrounded by the stunning countryside of the Pewsey Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the lodges provide the perfect base for a relaxing rural escape.

Willowbank Lodges is within easy reach of some of Wiltshire's most famous attractions, including Avebury, Stonehenge, Marlborough and Savernake Forest. For those wishing to explore further afield, the historic cities of Bath and Salisbury, as well as the picturesque Cotswolds, make excellent day-trip destinations.

Subject to availability, Willowbank Lodges can be booked exclusively, accommodating up to 16 guests across all 5 lodges—ideal for family gatherings, celebrations, and group retreats.

  • Trout fishing is also available at Manningford Trout Fishery, just a short drive away
  • Clay pigeon shooting can be arranged for small groups of up to 6 guests
  • Walking, cycling, sightseeing and wildlife watching right from your doorstep
  • Please note that the lakes and ponds within Willowbank Lodges are natural spring-fed wildlife lakes and are not stocked for fishing

Dog Friendly

Each of our lodges is very dog friendly with no extra charge for up to two of your four legged friends.

Accessibility

Our two bedroom lodges are accessible with parking for 2 cars alongside, an access ramp to the door, wide doors and walk in shower.

WiFi

Each lodge features its own secure WiFi connection (up to 20Mbps) and a Smart TV for your entertainment and convenience.

Electric Vehicle Charging

A 22kW EV charging point is available on site, conveniently located in a dedicated parking space within our car park. Charging 40p per kWh.

Parking

Two allocated tandem parking spaces alongside each two bedroom lodge. One allocated parking in car park for each one bed plus 4 visitor spaces.

Bathrooms

All lodges have one large en suite bathroom (bath with shower over). Two bedroom lodges also have a second bathroom with walk-in shower.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms (one and two bedroom lodges) can be configured as either one large king-size bed or two singles.

Heating and Open Fires

Heating is electric with smart controls plus an electric flame effect stove in the lounge/diner.

Kitchen

Hand built well equipped shaker style kitchens open plan to the large open plan living space.

TV and Music Facilities

WiFi connected Smart TV with FreeSat and catch-up over broadband in all lodges.

Outdoor

3.5 acres of stunning lakes and countryside for the exclusive use of our guests.

Location

Willowbank Lodges is nestled in the heart of the Vale of Pewsey, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty renowned for its unspoilt countryside and rich history. Surrounded by ancient landscapes dotted with prehistoric barrows and hillforts, the area is steeped in heritage, with the world-famous Neolithic monuments of Avebury and Stonehenge both within easy reach.

Just 15 minutes away lies the charming market town of Marlborough, home to the prestigious Marlborough College, a vibrant selection of independent shops, cafés, restaurants, and one of the widest high streets in the country.

Nature lovers will enjoy exploring nearby Savernake Forest, one of Britain’s oldest woodlands, famous for its magnificent ancient oak trees and scenic walking trails. Closer to the lodges, the Kennet & Avon Canal and Vera’s Mill Nature Reserve offer beautiful waterside walks right on your doorstep, providing excellent opportunities for wildlife spotting and peaceful relaxation.

For a memorable day out, hire a self-drive narrowboat from nearby Honey Street and cruise along the canal at your own pace. Honey Street is also home to a popular dog-friendly café and a collection of artisan shops, making it a wonderful destination to explore.

If you wish to venture further afield, the historic Roman city of Bath, the magnificent cathedral city of Salisbury and the picturesque villages of the Cotswolds are all ideal day-trip destinations. Longleat, with its famous safari park, stately home and family attractions, is also within easy reach.
