Wingbury Farm wants to offer a relaxing camping option to all their customers, with a touch of luxury thrown in. We feel that the scenery in this beautiful area is too good to miss at any time of year, so have decided to open Wingbury Farm Glamping all year round. This is a fantastic holiday venue for groups of friends, families and also for girls getaways and hen dos.
The farm itself has been in the family for three generations, its use evolving over the years, from a 220 acre mixed arable and stock farm, to a 50-acre site now used as permanent pasture for sheep and cattle.
Each pod comes well equipped with a table for eating together, a kitchen area, and a double and 2 single beds, as well as a private shower and loo - perfect for a family of 4. And our 3 pods all have a decked area outside for al fresco dining and relaxing, plus their own wood-fired hot tub, fire pit and brick BBQ. The grounds surrounding the pods are laid to grass, allowing plenty of opportunities for games and group activities.
Wingbury Farm Glamping is situated just outside the small Buckinghamshire village of Wingrave, where there's a pub, sports club, children’s play park and recreation ground, as well as regular village events which are well worth a visit. Our site is equidistant between the market town of Leighton Buzzard, from where you can catch the train to London in around 30 minutes, and the larger town of Aylesbury. Milton Keynes and its amazing shopping is approximately half-an-hour’s drive away and we are surrounded by beautiful countryside walks and a plethora of woodland parks and nature reserves.
