Inside, you’ll find a blend of characterful period features and modern comforts, with original beams and cosy furnishings creating a warm, inviting feel. Spacious living areas, a fully equipped kitchen with a table to seat 7, and a kitchen island that seats 4. We have comfortable bedrooms to make it ideal for families. There is a separate cosy dining area that can sit up to 20 people and with a working fireplace, ideal on a cold rainy day! There's also a games room that's stocked with lots of toys, books and a TV for children to enjoy. You can relax in the beautiful garden area, where you can enjoy a BBQ, or kids can have endless fun in the Treehouse. There is also ample car parking space for up to 10 cars on the driveway. Enjoy the experience of a farmhouse stay without feeling remote. The swimming pool is operational from early May until late October. The hot tub is available to use all year. There are 5 main bedrooms and king sized sofa beds in two reception rooms: Room 1 : can be arranged as a twin room or a super king bed, and 2 single beds Room 2: can be arranged as a twin room or a super king bed, also contains a set of bunk beds that are able to hold adults Room 3: a king bed Room 4: a king bed Room 5: can be arranged as a twin room or a super king bed 4 of the bedrooms have plenty of space for at least one travel cot. There are also two king sized sofa beds for additional guests located in the following rooms: The playroom, tucked away in the corner of downstairs, opposite the downstairs W/C The Pool house, accessed via outside, complete with en suite facilities Wiseman's is perfectly located for accessing several eateries and shops nearby, as well as a short drive to Colchester Castle, Colchester Zoo and Highwoods Country Park.
