Wolford Lodge is an architecturally acclaimed Arts and Crafts house, now available as a holiday house sleeping 14, with a tennis court on site.

Built in 1929, this family holiday house has traditional features including sash windows and open fireplaces, with contemporary home comforts. Situated near Honiton and set within a Blackdown Hills valley, there are beautiful views and surrounding countryside.

Multi generation families and friends will love Wolford Lodge for its position and excellent transport links for a Devon holiday or easy for a weekend visit. Situated in 158 acres of grounds and woodland, there is oodles of space for kids and the dogs to let off steam, as well as walking trails for keen hikers from the door. It's a 30 minute stroll to the pub in Broadhembury for lunch or a pint before dinner.

A private drive leads to this gorgeous house. The bright drawing room has French doors to the terrace, and a cosy open fire. The snug or study offers a smaller sitting room with TV, games and books, a separate space for a mixed age group. The kitchen is fully equipped with top notch appliances and includes a separate utility room as well as a larder. The open plan style living kitchen diner suits a group for maximum time together. A separate entrance leads to a boot room for dogs and storing wellies and coats.

Of the 6 bedrooms, 5 are doubles and 1 a quad, an option for the children to bunk down together. One stunning bathroom has mosaic Moroccan tiles and Lefroy Brooks fittings. The other has a large walk-in power shower. An original 1920s, re-enamelled roll top bath is still in situ for a long soak.

The south facing terrace off the drawing room is perfect for a barbecue or drinks, with distant sea views over the Jurassic Coast. Or gather round the firepit to toast marshmallows. Watch out for roe deer, woodcock and buzzards during a wander in the woodland - there are resident beavers now too! And children will love the zip wire in the woods.

Honiton is a lively market town on the banks of the River Otter. Visit in the spring for carpets of bluebells at Hembury Fort and Blackbury Camp. Crealy Great Adventure Park is within 30 minutes for a family day out. And the Jurassic Coast isn't far away for fossil hunting or a day at the seaside.

- **Smoking:** No smoking inside please. Outside is allowed.

## Booking Information

- 20% deposit to secure booking, balance due 6 weeks prior to stay. Preferred changeover day for weekends is Friday – otherwise flexible. Check in after 5pm, check out by 10am. Damage deposit of £500. No Stag or Hen parties. Children need to be supervised at all times especially around the water feature and terrace garden, and zip wire.
