Woodlands Centre, Betws-y-Coed, Conwy, Snowdonia

Sleeps 10 - 33 8 Bedrooms 24 Dining

Large bunkhouse sleeping 33 with a games room, for youth residential groups accessing outdoor activities in Snowdonia

Exclusive use rental accommodation for youth groups and families

The Woodlands Centre is a large Victorian property offering self catering bunkroom accommodation for groups of up to 33. The centre is primarily available as accommodation for youth groups - schools, scouts and special interest groups - on an exclusive use basis. However, when not on hire to these groups, we accept adult and mixed groups, families and friends, either on an exclusive use basis or on an individual or per dorm basis (for either mixed or single sex groups).

The accommodation extends to 8 bedrooms spread over 3 floors, with a common room, large kitchen, drying room, games room and hot showers.

The centre is a great base for groups looking to enjoy outdoor activities in Snowdonia. The location of the centre, in Betws-y-Coed, one of North Wales foremost tourist attractions, makes for easy access to a range of outdoor adventures, including trekking, orienteering, rock climbing and mountain biking, as well as canoeing. We can provide details of local providers of a range of outdoor activities. Woodlands is also convenient for the shops and it's easy to get to the north Wales coast, approximately 20 miles away.

Woodlands is run by a registered charity called 'The Barn Outdoor Pursuits Association' whose aim is to provide and maintain group accommodation that is an ideal base for outdoor activities in wild country at the lowest possible cost. The centre welcomes groups of all types - youth and schools, walking and outdoor activity groups, special interest groups, and those with special needs.
