They can be rented as single properties or any combination of the three. Woodlands Cottage sleeps up to 6 in 4 bedrooms (2 x single en suite bedrooms, 1 x double bedroom & 1 x twin bedroom) Woodlands Bunkhouse sleeps up to 25 in 9 multiple occupancy bedrooms Woodlands Main House sleeps up to 30 in 14 multiple occupancy bedrooms Camping is also available in the grounds. Woodlands House is a late Regency building, set in 10 acres of grounds. Overlooking the River Wye and with wonderful views of the Black Mountains and close to the Brecon Beacons National Park. Nearby is the historic town of Hay on Wye, famous for its bookshops and annual Hay Festival. The accommodation at Woodlands can be used as a base to simply relax and explore the local area at your own pace. But if you're feeling adventurous, we can arrange outdoor activities for your group. We are ideally located close to the Black Mountains, the Brecon Beacons and the River Wye and our fully qualified instructors can provide a wide range of activities, including; mountain walking, caving, gorge walking, open canoeing or tackle our high-ropes, zip wire and climbing course in the grounds. Activities can be designed to meet your requirements, for all ages and abilities. Please ask us about our guided adventure activities when you enquire about your booking. Please note, all activities, including the onsite high ropes and zip wire course need to be booked in advance. ## Facilities - **WiFi:** Variable mobile reception. - **Accessibility:** In the Bunkhouse, there are 4 ground floor bedrooms one with en suite and a separate bathroom. - **Dog Friendly:** We do not accommodate pets. - **Kitchen:** All properties have fully equipped modern kitchens with range electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge/freezer. - **Dining Room:** All properties have dining rooms / areas. The Bunkhouse has open plan dining, kitchen, seating area. - **Sitting Room:** The Cottage & Main House have sitting rooms. The Bunkhouse doesn't have separate sitting room, but has open plan dining-kitchen-seating area with TV. - **TV and Music Facilities:** TV, DVD, Wifi. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating. A drying room is available for wet clothing and footwear. - **Bedrooms:** Bunkhouse: 9 bedrooms with sleeping in single bunk beds. Cottage: 4 bedrooms. Main House: 14 multiple occupancy bedrooms. - **Linen:** Please bring your own bed linen & towels. - **Bathrooms:** All have bathroom & toilet facilities within the properties, which your group will have exclusive use of and access to. - **Children's Facilities:** Large lawned area and grounds for outdoor recreation. - **Outdoor:** Set in 10 acres of grounds, there's plenty of space for guests to enjoy relaxing outside. We also have a large charcoal barbecue available for use. - **Swimming Pool:** Not on site. Nearby swimming pool - approximately 5 miles away. The river Wye in Glasbury is also a popular swimming spot. - **Parking:** We have parking available on site. - **Smoking:** Smoking is not permitted on site. ## Rental Rates Please contact the owner for pricing. ## Booking Information - Minimum stay 2 nights - - Main House: £450 a night for a group 8-15 and £600 a night for groups of more than 15 persons - - Bunkhouse: £19.50 per person per night (adults). £15 (children under 12). Min charge 8 people - - Cottage: £18 per person per night (adults) £13.50 (children).
