Woodrow High House, part of the charity London Youth, is nestled within 26 acres of private grounds at the end of London's Metropolitan Line. We work with over 7,000 young people every year, helping them to be the best they can be, and are open year-round to organisations like schools, youth organisations, charities, faith groups, corporates. We offer a wide range of exciting activities including high ropes, archery, swimming and team-building exercises. Our fully qualified instructors work with groups of all abilities and ages, to develop confidence and resilience, build relationships and promote a healthy lifestyle, as well as having fun. We work with each of our groups to create a bespoke activity programme to meet your outcomes, whether this includes a full activity programme, partial or completely self-led. We also offer corporate team building days. After a day of activities you can make use of one of our relaxing lounges. With food freshly prepared on-site, our helpful kitchen team are happy to discuss your dietary requirements. Bedrooms vary in size (containing 2-5 bunk beds), with group leaders in single or twin rooms. Spread over 3 floors and split into 4 areas, each group will have their own space. All bed linen is provided. Up to 113 can be accommodated. Meeting room facilities are available if required for your programme; these can be set up with tables, chairs, a projector and screen, and can be hired for the day too, for a group get together. Your group can also make use of our sports hall, Astroturf and swimming pool facilities. In the evening you can use our games room complete with tuck shop, table tennis, football table and music. Our beautiful grounds provide an ideal setting to get away from a busy lifestyle and enjoy the countryside. An evening round the camp fire, is the perfect way to round off the day. Situated on the edge of the Chilterns, and easily accessible from the M25 and M40, the closest tube station is Amersham, providing good access to London. Nearby towns include High Wycombe, Beaconsfield and Amersham. ## Facilities - **WiFi:** WiFi available. There is a telephone available for emergencies. However, reception for mobile phone networks is sporadic. - **Accessibility:** The house is accessible. Including bedrooms, bathrooms and lounges. Our staff have a wealth of experience working with people of all abilities. - **Dog Friendly:** No pets allowed, except for medical dogs. - **Kitchen:** We only offer fully catered stays. - **Dining Room:** The dining room seats 75. If your group is bigger, you will be allocated two meal sittings. - **Sitting Room:** With a selection of lounges varying in style from traditional, oak-panelled, to modern and colourful, there are spaces to suit all needs at Woodrow. - **TV and Music Facilities:** TV and DVD facilities are available. - **Games Room:** Complete with football table, table tennis, PlayStation, TV and music system. We also have a tuck shop selling a variety of confectionery and gifts. - **Heating and Open Fires:** All of our rooms are heated by central heating. - **Bedrooms:** Our 26 bedrooms are a variety of sizes, accommodating from 1 to 12 guests. Beds are singles and bunks. - **Linen:** All bed linen is provided. This includes pillows, sheets and duvets. Your group will need to bring towels. - **Bathrooms:** Communal showers and toilet facilities are located throughout the house. We have 4 bedrooms with 'Jack-and-Jill' style bathrooms with en-suite shower. - **Children's Facilities:** There is plenty of space in our 26 acres of grounds for children to play in a safe and secure environment.
