Once an historic spacious family home, the house is able to cater for up to 16 people, and is ideally suited to large family holidays, weekend breaks, celebrations, hen parties and reunions.

The property is entered from the private car park (8 cars) by several steps and terraced garden with inset patio chess board.

The lounge and dining area is a very large open plan arrangement, featuring a wood burning stove, Mediterranean tiles, beams, ample seating and includes a games area with football table, jigsaw puzzles and fully loaded bookcase. There is a satellite TV/DVD and leather sofa area with a large window enabling magnificent views of The Derwent Valley world Heritage site and Ambergate woods.

There is ample seating around the dining table for the entire party of 16, and 2 high chairs. The large beamed garden room, or conservatory, is light and spacious with 4 large leather sofas and CD/radio centre, coffee tables.

There is a separate washroom in this area with WC and basin. The adjoining kitchen has been designed and equipped to cater for the needs of large groups, and families. There is a serving hatch to the outside patio and undercover barbecue area.

There is a large family en suite bedroom on the ground floor, with a double and a single bed and enough room to take 2 cots. The first floor offers 2 front facing en suite bedrooms with kingsize beds and panoramic views, and 2 twin en suite bedrooms, one with bath/shower, the remainder includes showers. The top floor is a unique vaulted attic bedroom, with triple beds, under eaves play areas and an en suite. All bedrooms have remote control Freeview TVs.

The outside terrace includes a covered barbecue area with a tiled table, drinks fridge and sink, and plenty of tables and chairs to wine, dine and enjoy the exceptional woodland view.
