The Thatched Barn is a traditional barn conversion with vaulted ceilings, creating a wonderful space for an intimate ceremony. Hire the Mulberry Room separately for your big day, or in conjunction with The Thatched Barn (together known as The Woodyard), for a wedding ceremony and subsequent candlelit feast. Or, if the weather is promising, head to Lake Island to make your vows under the newly built summerhouse frames. The neighbouring boathouse has a boat appropriately named ‘You and I’, available (separate hire) to transport the bride across the lake to the ceremony, and offering a quiet moment of reflection and a heartwarming memory.
Round tables are provided for your wedding breakfast, with use of an integrated sound system. A fully stocked bar with staff is provided for for the evening event. There are approved caterers available. Our wedding planner can guide you as you create your own special day.
