Brazenhall Barn and Lodge, Dunton, Fakenham, Norfolk, sleeps 20 in 10 bedrooms.

19th Century Brazenhall Barn and Lodge set a new standard in group accommodation. Nestling under a medieval church set in superb summer meadows (which are yours to use during your stay), these two buildings are in a charming valley that offers a truly relaxing country experience. This part of Norfolk is full of things to do and places to see and there are some great restaurants to visit.

Brazenhall Barn sleeps 14 in en suite rooms with a truly enormous living space incorporating living room, dining area and kitchen. We offer our own catering service too and the local supermarket delivers!

Brazenhall Lodge sleeps 6 with a truly lovely living space incorporating living room, dining area and kitchen. The dining room, with its huge floor to ceiling windows, is particularly unusual.

For company hire, the living areas have a large TV screen ideally suited for presentations and plenty of outdoor space for evening barbecues. There is free WiFi throughout the buildings.

We're close to two of Norfolk's most popular shopping towns which are packed with shops, restaurants and pubs. These are Holt and Burnham Market.

A couple of miles away is the Extreme Adventure Company with treetop swings, walks, a 3G swing and its 1000 foot zip wire. There is a small course for less adventurous members of the party. The stunning Pensthorpe Park is just past Fakenham and is well known as the host of BBC Springwatch in 2009. It was also voted Norfolk's Best Visitor Attraction in 2009. Superb wildlife, walks, gardens, shops and restaurants and plenty to do.

In fact, our area boasts a wealth of fine stately homes, museums, churches and gardens and many more than can be visited in a week and, with the coast so close by, there is no shortage of things to do.

All mod cons including two dishwashers in the Barn, wine cooler, American fridge, double oven in a stylish open plan format.
Dining Room
A bespoke dining table provides a great space for dining for 20/22 in comfort. Outdoor dining is provided for 22.
Sitting Room
Large, light, airy and comfortable with enormous plasma TV and easy access to the garden. The stylish open fire finishes the look.
TV and Music Facilities
50" Plasma in the living room, 40" LCD in the TV room and a 19" TV in every bedroom.
Telecom Facilities
Free broadband internet access and WiFi. There is a telephone landline with honesty box.
Games Room
We do not have a games room.
Heating / Open Fires
Stylish open gas fire in the living room. The entire house is heated with Ground Source heating for low-carbon emission.
7 bedrooms offering a mix of 3 double bedded rooms and 4 twin bedded rooms. A further 3 bedrooms are available in the adjacent lodge.
All linen and towels are provided.
All rooms are en suite with either bath or shower.
Disabled Facilities
Disabled access is provided to level 3. The Lodge is a single story building making disabled access easy.
Children's Facilities
Separate TV / Games room for children or those who want to watch TV or play games. High chairs for smaller children provided.
Outdoor Facilities
Large patio, built-in BBQ, wooden tables and chairs. Huge garden with even bigger 7 acre meadow for football and running around.
Swimming Pool
We do not have a pool.
The Barn and Lodge have their own courtyard with sufficient space for a dozen or so cars.
Smoking is not permitted inside any of the buildings.
Up to two dogs per household per week are permitted provided they are, of course, well-trained! There are seven acres of meadow attached.

Large Group Property Location

Located a mile south from the A148 Fakenham to King's Lynn Road in the hamlet of Dunton. Please note that MoD Sculthorpe is not an active airport, being used occasionally for MOD training only.

The Barn and Lodge can be hired separately and there are three different price bands for the year as well as rates Christmas, Easter and bank holidays so visiting our website is essential.
