Guests returning to Dove Farm comment on the "home from home" feeling they get when staying in the award-winning, self catering cottages, on this working farm on the Derbys/Staffs border. Weekend breaks and short breaks available all year round. Just 4 miles from Alton Towers.

The cottages sleep around 16 guests in 7/8 bedrooms. One of the living rooms has a sofa bed and may be used as an additional bedroom. All cottages open out onto a shared and secluded patio garden, with garden furniture and barbecue.

Dove Farm has excellent disabled access for those guests with special mobility needs. There are wet-room, level access showers in two cottages.

Guests are welcome to walk the farm and river-side trail, an easy relaxing stroll across open fields and wooded riverbank.

Dove studio provides comfortable, ambient dining space for special occasions and dinner parties with a large table which seats up to 18. This flexible room comfortably accommodates around 25 in a more informal layout. Ideal for seminars, training events and workshops. There is WiFi throughout the properties.

Dove Farm makes an interesting business venue for meetings, team building and corporate hospitality. Catering available, from dinner parties to business lunches.

On the farm, there are all kinds of farm animals to see, from sheep, cows and chickens, to donkeys, ducks and alpacas – however, guests should bear in mind that this is a working farm, with some areas strictly out of bounds for the safety of guests.

Just 5 miles from Ashbourne, gateway to the Peak District, and only 4 miles from Alton Towers, Dove Farm is within easy reach of all major visitor attractions in Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

Dove Farm is a popular residential venue for complementary therapists, life coaches and other practitioners working in the field of self development. The farm and countryside environment offers a tranquil breathing space for day workshops and an energizing haven for residential courses.
